We added sheep to our farm as a way to control the grass, weeds. Upon further research, we found that Babydoll Sheep were bred primarily as weed control in the UK as their small size prevents them from being able to reach and therefore eat the berries. Although we have mostly mature tall bushes, many of the newer ones are low enough for the sheep to enjoy the berries as well as the leaves. Luckily, we have plenty of other pasture for them to eat and they are fun to have on the farm.
