Blueberries turning pink to blueGetting ready for our blueberry crop is my favorite time of year. Blueberry bushes require a lot of work to remain healthy and ensure an abundant crop.  What better way to spend Spring and early Summer then being outdoors pruning and mulching, to make sure the bushes are healthy.

During the process I love to see how they evolve from blossoms, to small green berries. As the berries get larger, the color slowly starts add a slight pink hue to the green berry. Eventually they will be dark blue and ready to pick.

When we bought this farm, we didn’t know much about blueberries other than they tasted good. In the past few years, we have learned a lot and developed what we think are not only phenomenal tasting berries, but a place we can share with our U-Pickers who enjoy some bucolic farm life that we love so much.

We look forward to seeing you again if you have picked with us in the last few years. We also look forward to meeting new people and hope that you will enjoy the experience as much as we do.
